Types of Dental Implants

There are a variety of dental implant types available to patients, each with its own benefits and drawbacks. The most common types of dental implants are traditional dentures, implant-supported dentures, single-tooth implants, all on four implants, and same-day dental implants.

Traditional Dentures

Traditional dentures are the most common type of dental implant, and they involve the use of removable dentures that sit on top of the gums. Traditional dentures are held in place by natural suction or by dental adhesive. Although traditional dentures are not as stable as other types of dental implants, they are the most affordable option and they do not require any surgery.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Implant-supported dentures are similar to traditional dentures, but they are held in place by dental implants. Dental implants are small screws that are surgically implanted into the jawbone. Implant-supported dentures are more stable than traditional dentures and they do not require any adhesive. However, implant-supported dentures are more expensive than traditional dentures and they require surgery.

Single-Tooth Implants

Single-tooth implants are dental implants that are used to replace a single missing tooth. Single-tooth implants are made up of a small screw that is implanted into the jawbone and a dental crown that is attached to the screw. Single-tooth implants are more expensive than traditional dentures, but they are more stable and they look more natural.

All on Four Implants

All on four implants are a type of dental implant that is used to replace all of the missing teeth in a patient’s mouth. All on four implants are made up of four dental implants that are implanted into the jawbone. The dental implants are used to support a dental bridge or a denture. All on four implants are more expensive than traditional dentures, but they are more stable and they look more natural.

Same-Day Dental Implants

Same-day dental implants are a type of dental implant that is used to replace a single missing tooth. Same-day dental implants are made up of a small screw that is implanted into the jawbone and a dental crown that is attached to the screw. Same-day dental implants are more expensive than traditional dentures, but they are more stable and they look more natural.

Cost of Dental Implants in Moorooka

The dental implant cost is one of the most important factors to consider when deciding whether to get dental implants. The average cost of dental implants is $3,999.

The dental implant cost includes the implant itself, the abutment, and the crown. If the implant is placed in the front of the mouth, the cost will be higher because of the additional work that is involved. If multiple implants are needed, the cost will be higher.

The dental implant cost can be divided into two categories: the cost of the implant and the cost of the restoration. The implant is the part of the tooth that is placed in the jawbone. The restoration is the part of the tooth that is visible in the mouth. The implant can be used to support a single crown, a bridge, or a denture.

The cost of the implant varies depending on the type of implant. The most common type of implant is the titanium implant. Titanium is a strong metal that is compatible with the human body. Other types of implants include zirconium and porcelain.

The cost of dental implants Moorooka can be expensive, but the implants are a permanent solution that can last for many years. The implants are a better option than dentures, which can be uncomfortable and can slip out of place. The implants are also a better option than bridges, which can damage the teeth on either side of the gap.

Dental Implants Recovery

Dental implants are a popular tooth replacement option, and with good reason – they offer a number of benefits over other replacement options. But like any surgical procedure, there is a recovery period following implant placement. Here’s what you can expect in the days and weeks following your dental implant surgery.

Immediately After Surgery

You will likely experience some swelling and bruising in the days following surgery. You can minimize swelling by using a cold compress on the area. Bruising will fade over time. You may also experience some discomfort, which can be managed with over-the-counter pain medication.

Dental Implants Moorooka Recovery Time

Most people are able to return to work within a few days following surgery. However, you will need to avoid strenuous activities for a few weeks. You should also avoid eating anything crunchy or sticky in the weeks following surgery, as this can put stress on the implant site. Instead, stick to soft, bland foods.

Final Results

The final results of your dental implant surgery will not be visible until the swelling and bruising have faded. It may take a few months for the implant to fully integrate with the surrounding bone. Once it has, you will be able to enjoy all the benefits of your dental implant replacement tooth.

Fantastic staff. I am a truly anxious patient, and the receptionist, Frances, who took my first contact call, I felt safe. Dr Reza Sunny was so patient with me, allowing me to do tapping when I was overwhelmed, never losing focus, totally understanding. Incredibly kind. Incredibly good dentist. I had cleaning, filling, and removal of a broken molar. Even though I may still get anxious I feel safe returning when needed.

This is my first time ever to have a positive comment about a dentist.
I was astonished about the successful outcome of my dental procedure. Thank you Casey and Dr Reza, what a professional and dedicated team. I mentioned to my partner about it, and we went back to the clinic and she made an appointment for herself on the spot. I do not hesitate to recommend to any one the services of Moorooka Dental Care. Thank you all for your friendly attention, starting from the reception all way to the manager. Looking forwards to see you again.

Can't thank the team at Moorooka dental care enough for an amazing friendly experience! I have now seen both Dr Reza Sunny for general cosmetics work including fillings to teeth whitening, clean up/check ups. Very good at explaining and being upfront with procedures process and Dr Zaheer who removed both my bottom wisdoms last week did an absolute fantastic job from start to finish. They even went the extra mile to call up and check up on me a few days later to see how my recovery was going. 10/10 for service and pricing. Thanks
